Draft animal logging is a poorly understood forest management tool that may have the potential to meet modern landowner needs. This research serves to index and survey the current network of draft animal loggers in the southeastern United States, characterizing these firms and their operations.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe the characteristics of draft animal logging firms in the southeastern United States.
Upon completion, participants will be able to evaluate the ability of the current draft animal logging network to meet the forest management needs of small forest owners in the Southeast.
