Participants will learn about the accuracy of various classification methods using high-resolution satellite imagery to detect and monitor the extent of an outbreak of Southern Pine Beetles (SPB).

Understand an outbreak of SPB and (time permitting) treatment efforts in the Bienville National Forest.
