Engaging 23,000 participants annually, Corps are programs that engage young adults (generally ages 16 – 30) and veterans (up to age 35) in service projects that address conservation, climate resilience, disaster response, and community needs. These sessions will explore Corps training opportunities for wildfire, urban, and rural forestry careers.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to identify opportunities to gain paid hands-on experience and technical training in the wildfire, urban forestry, and rural forestry sectors through Conservation & Climate Corps programs
Upon completion, participants will be able to describe options for individuals interested in joining the forestry workforce who are either college or non-college track.
Upon completion, participants will be able to explain the White House's American Climate Corps initiative and its potential workforce development impact on the forestry sector.
