Recent outbreaks of the invasive insect oystershell scale threaten sustainability of aspen ecosystems in the Interior West. This presentation highlights how initial monitoring and research efforts provide justification for active management of oystershell scale and inform which strategies are most appropriate for managing this high-impact invasive species.
