Data on harvest and wood pricing in Michigan is currently only available for state timber sales. We are surveying loggers, consulting foresters, and mill owners to obtain accurate harvest and wood pricing data and begin implementing ongoing data collection to produce regular reports for stakeholders.

know how to obtain wood pricing data that wholly represents private landowners for the state of Michigan.
identify the key issues for forestry stakeholders in the state of Michigan.
conduct similar initiatives in states that do not have regular surveying of the logging businesses.
