The use of small-diameter woods in mass timber has been a topic of research in recent years. This study aims to assess economic impacts of using small-diameter woods in Oregon and Washington in mass timber production.

The possible economic impacts of producing mass timber using small-diameter wood in Oregon and Washington will be assessed.
The economic impacts will be reported in terms of additional employment generation, labour income, value-added, and total output.
