This study sought to understand Indian immigrants’ perspectives on urban greenspace on mental health. Immigrants have a unique context that makes benefits they receive from nature different from non-immigrants; however, research is limited in showing how the mental health of specific immigrant groups is influenced by the natural environment.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to demonstrate connections between green space and mental health.
Upon completion, participant will be able to describe the ways U.S. Indian immigrants think about tree canopy.
