This workshop will provide an orientation of the USDA-NRCS Technical Service Provider certification process, satisfy two of the required training courses, and include a breakout for current TSPs to provide updates on processes and guidance.

Learning Objectives:

move forward with the TSP certification process, as outlined by NRCS requirements. The paths to certification, such as education, experience, and/or required trainings, will be detailed so interested parties can assess the requirements and the outcomes.
better understand how becoming a certified TSP can benefit their professional goals and be a source of income. The deliverables for various TSP services and the corresponding payment rates will be discussed.
review the options for TSP activities and conservation practices in the state(s) they apply for TSP certification. Because these options vary nationally, TSPs should become familiar with the regional opportunities, payment rates for TSP services, and the needs of those NRCS customers in the corresponding location(s).
