Our ability to measure urban trees and canopy has evolved. The strategies and benchmarks we use to guide urban forest management must evolve too. This presentation will explore how modern canopy assessment technology and analysis tools support inclusive urban forest management through informed plans, projects, and policies.

Upon completion, participants will be able to create planting prioritization maps using canopy data analysis software.
Upon completion, participants will be able to demonstrate how canopy data analysis can be used in planting projects, budget justifications, and improving tree codes/ordinances.
