Questions about the effects of fuel treatments on wildfire persist. Data are not easily accessible or comparable. SWERI are developing an accessible, open database that integrates data, makes it relatable, advances the ability to evaluate the biophysical effects, and promotes its ability to be incorporated into planning and adaptive management.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will understand the SWERI ReSHAPE Program, goals and objectives, including research direction and Treatment and Wildfire Interagency Geodatabase (TWIG) application.
Upon completion, the participant will be able to view and query federal data using the SWERI ReSHAPE Treatment and Wildfire Interagency Geodatabase (TWIG) viewer and database.
Upon completion, be able to provide feedback on TWIG and inform future development of the tool.
