The study assesses the socio-economic impacts on Catskill-Delaware watershed communities supplying NYC's drinking water. It explores community vitality, economic well-being, and social engagement through surveys and interviews, aiming to understand benefits derived from their relationship with NYC, thus contributing to broader welfare measurement discussions beyond quantifiable measures.
