Sustainability of soil productivity under forest farming is uncertain due to limited long-term sampling. We present soil chemical, physical, and biological measures under fertilizer and herbicide treatments at age 10 and 30, rotation age. The study combines five locations across Georgia USA on a diversity of soils providing robust results.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion the participant will be to describe changes in soil that may influence future production of forest farms.
Upon completion, participant will be able to identify chemical, physical, and biological soil measures that are relevant to managing soil sustainability.
