This research extends previous work, aiming to understand spatial and temporal patterns of tree seedlings over a 30-year period, emphasizing topographic influences and masting effects on seedling composition and survival.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to highlight the need for targeted management strategies that consider the unique ecological conditions of different forest habitats, and the importance of proactive conservation efforts to mitigate potential threats to forest regeneration and biodiversity.
Upon completion, participant will be able to to assess the composition and density of tree seedling species in the forest understory in relation to topographic position.
