Graduate Research Assistant University of Arkansas at Monticello Monticello, Arkansas, United States
This study will assess the impact of site index and planting density on the biomass yields of open-pollinated and varietal loblolly pines in the Southern US. It aims to optimize forest management decisions that could maximize biomass production.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participant will be able to extrapolate optimal combinations of site index and planting density for the highest biomass yield.
Upon completion, participants will be able to visualize the effects of using improved planting stock on the growth and biomass yields of loblolly pine.
