Climate-smart forestry (CSF) and women landowners can significantly advance climate change mitigation and sustainability. CSF enhances carbon storage and ecosystem health, while women, owning one-third of U.S. private forests, bring strong conservation values but face barriers in forestry. Research highlights the need for supportive policies and programs for these women.
