Creating inclusive, impactful educational experiences for our students requires broadening traditional approaches to undergraduate education. By diversifying the ways in which students are allowed to learn and apply their knowledge (e.g., by implementing course-based undergraduate research experiences), we can create better trained and more diverse university graduates.

Upon completion, participant will be able to appreciate the value of course-based undergraduate research experiences in fostering impactful and equitable educational experiences.
Upon completion, participant will be able to understand the impacts of invasive species on forest ecosystems.
