Communicating the benefits of silvicultural treatments used by forest managers can be challenging. Socio-political framings likely contribute to perceptions and acceptability of forest management aesthetics and outcomes. This research provides experimental evidence about the efficacy of messaging frames within a recreation context in western Oregon forests.
