The Stages of Collaborative Readiness Framework provides stage-appropriate benchmarks for tracking progress and success of collaboratives. It can be used for self-assessment and adaption, to justify capacity needs, to guide resource allocation between collaborative members and partners, and to inform reasonable expectations and outcomes at different collaborative capacity levels.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants who engage with collaboratives will be able apply and adapt Stages of Collaborative Readiness concepts to their own experience with multi-organizational entities to assess or communicate benchmarks of progress, or articulate capacity needs to move between stages.
Upon completion, participants with no experience of collaboration will be able to identify potential roles they could play at different stages in achieving desired outcomes through collaboration in the context of forest and wildland fire management.
