Skilled labor shortages and municipal budget constraints create community forestry management challenges. Forestry nonprofits can play a crucial role in nimbly raising adaptable human capital. This session presents a nonprofit-developed UF toolkit with a collaborative, intersectional, and cross-boundaries approach to developing the right human resources for the project at hand.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion, participants will be able to identify 4 basic Urban Forestry models.
Upon completion, participants will be able to talk through labor needs and brainstorm creative ways to fill them.
Upon completion, participants will emerge with a greater understanding of the value of partnerships and diverse strategies to achieve urban forestry goals.
