The Cloquet Forestry Center at the University of Minnesota has maintained a network of Continuous Forest Inventory (CFI) plots, which has been periodically remeasured since 1959. This presentation will highlight past findings and uses of this long-term dataset as well as findings from the 2024 remeasurement and related ongoing research.
Learning Objectives:
Upon completion, participants will be able to identify management and research-related benefits of a long-term continuous forest inventory at a University-managed forest.
Upon completion, participants will be able to understand over 65 years of forest trends in a working forest in Minnesota.
