We often hear that nuggets of truth from academic research are being stretched into misleading narratives. In this presentation and interactive activity, we highlight ‘ah-ha moments’ from the Selective Science Communications Practice Group, which addressed key themes associated with misinformation and selective science.

Upon completion, participants will be able to identify nuggets of science truth and fair questions in selective science narratives.
Upon completion, participants will be able to critically reflect on their own science communication, adding nuance and clarity to avoid inviting selective science narratives.
