Scott Hershberger is a science communicator focusing on the intersections of climate change, the environment, and society. Currently, he is working on a project with the University of Wisconsin–Madison Division of Extension to support Wisconsin’s maple syrup industry. His thesis research will explore how Extension professionals approach climate change communication. Before beginning his M.S. studies, he earned a bachelor’s degree in math and physics and wrote about science for Scientific American, Fermilab, and the American Mathematical Society.
