Axel Wall is a graduate student at the University of Idaho studying smart forestry applications on the University of Idaho Experimental Forest (UIEF). They first started as a research technician on the UIEF and also as part of the Student Logging Crew. After working on the logging crew, they found an interest in studying the differences between tracked and rubber-tired grapple skidders. Axel is now the Administrative Assistant for the UIEF and continues to research technology in the woods under the guidance of Dr. Robert Keefe.
