Dr. Dehai Zhao, senior research scientist at the Warnell School of Forestry and Natural Resources, University og Georgia, has published more than 80 peer-reviewed journal articles, 25 technical reports, and numerous proceeding articles. Zhao has also served as a long time associate editor for Forest Science. He received a Lifetime Achievement Award, which honors scientists who have contributed significantly to quantitative southern forestry, from Southern Mensurationists Conference in 2021, and Research Excellence Award from University of Georgia in 2023.
