Bob Sturtevant is retired from the Colorado State Forest Service where he spent half of his career working in private and state land management. The other half of his 34-year tenure focused on education and outreach to landowners, training of foresters and university teaching. Upon retirement he served in the Peace Corps in Ethiopia and now serves as an instructor, advisor and researcher at Colorado State University, and conservation chair for the Ben Delatour Scout Ranch.
In SAF Bob is Chair of the Colorado-Wyoming State Society, Past Chair and now Secretary for the International Forestry Working Group, and Advisor for the Alpha Student Chapter. Bob is a SAF Certified Forester.
