Andrea Harbin Monahan is a member of the Watershed and Flood Protection Section of the Colorado Water Conservation Board (CWCB), where she works to administer the Watershed Restoration Program, facilitating planning and implementation projects throughout the State of Colorado for the restoration and preservation of Colorado’s watersheds. She has a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Beloit College and a Master's degree in Watershed Science from Colorado State University. Prior to joining the CWCB, Andrea was in the private sector working on a variety of projects, including TMDL development, watershed plans, and point-source permitting, among other things. In her spare time, Andrea enjoys being in the outdoors with her family. They particularly enjoy camping, hiking, rafting, and paddle boarding.
