Anusha Lamsal is a current Ph.D. student at SUNY-ESF. She was awarded the Erasmus Mundus scholarship (2018-2020) for MSc in Sustainable Tropical Forestry – a joint master’s degree program in Europe. She studied at the University of Copenhagen (Denmark), specializing in Forests and Livelihood, and at Bangor University (the UK) specializing in Agroforestry. For her master’s thesis, she worked on food security and resilience in Africa, under the graduate research fellowship of World Agroforestry (ICRAF). For her BSc Forestry thesis, she assessed the contribution of community forests towards livelihood improvement of the community forest user group members in rural Nepal.
