Rae Tamblyn is the associate director of #forestproud, a brand powered by the Society of American Foresters. Prior to joining the forest sector, she worked for several years doing communications, adaptive leadership, and research work at an association committed to anti-poverty efforts across the USA. With a background in sociology, anthropology, gender and multicultural studies, her work gives her insight into the connections between people, society, and the ways in which we interact with and manage our natural resources. She strongly believes in the need for efficient communication and collaboration between organizations working on different aspects of a single greater goal: keeping forests as forests, for people and planet.
