I am a biologist from the Venezuelan Andes with experience in tropical and subtropical forests and landscape ecology, focusing on remote sensing for conservation. My work involves projects in Venezuela and Uruguay, where I completed a master’s in Environmental Science, specializing in forest classification and risk assessment. I have also conducted environmental research and ecological monitoring for private and public sectors. I am pursuing a PhD, evaluating Raleigh’s greenways with an emphasis on ecosystem services distribution and overall health. I hope my prior, current, and future journey reflects my commitment to helping, understanding, and preserving our natural world.
