George Meindl is an Associate Teaching Professor in the Department of Forest and Wildlife Ecology at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. His research, which is driven by undergraduate students in the courses he teaches, integrates forest ecology, evolution, and toxicology. As an educator, his primary goal is to inspire an appreciation for the natural world to help create responsible global citizens that support sustainability.
