Chris graduated from Virginia Tech in Forest Resource Management in 2008 and completed an MSc and PhD in Crop and Soil Environmental Sciences studying mined land reforestation and the use of biochar in soil remediation. He currently works as a Tree Conservation Specialist and Technical Advisor for the Davey Institute of the Davey Tree Expert Company.
