Dr. Robert Froese, RPF CF is Professor and Endowed Chair in Forest Growth and Yield at the University of Alberta. Robert's forestry career began in his youth, immersed in the forested lands surrounding the University of British Columbia. He has always been drawn to forests, and believes in the important of knowledge in informing decisions about our place in the natural world. Robert's experience has been further shaped by academic and professional experiences in British Columbia, Idaho, Michigan, and Alberta, and is the foundation of his research and teaching in forest biometrics, modelling, and growth and yield. He now makes his home in Alberta, Canada.
