Iván Raigosa García, Forestry Engineer (UNAL Medellín), MS in Forest Resources from the University of Florida, and Ph.D. Candidate in Forest Resources at North Carolina State University. His research focuses on precision forestry and the use of remote sensors such as LiDAR and satellite imagery for modeling forest productivity, growth, and response to silvicultural treatments. He is interested in biometrics and the application of remote sensing in precision forestry for timber production, conservation, and environmental sustainability.
