Ch’aska Huayhuaca, PhD, is a Research Associate IV and Program Manager for Collaborative Adaptive Management at the Colorado Forest Restoration Institute at Colorado State University. Ch'aska (she/her/hers) joined CFRI in 2020, where she contributes to and leads collaborative adaptive management processes with forestry, fire and watershed collaborative groups. She applies social science expertise to evaluate the capacity, resilience, and performance collaborative processes and intitiatives, as well as the application of spatial and non-spatial decision support tools in collaborative settings. She received her Ph.D. from CSU’s Graduate Degree Program in Ecology, her M.S. in Human Dimensions of Natural Resources at CSU, and her B.S. in Natural Resources at Cornell University. She lives in Denver, Colorado.
