Charles Moreno, LPF, Consulting Forester
Charlie Moreno is founder and owner of Moreno Forestry Associates, practicing as a consulting forester in New Hampshire's coastal area for 44 years. Licensed in New Hampshire and Maine, he and two associate foresters manage about 50,000 acres for private landowners, land trusts, and communities, practicing a long-term, low-key, multi-aged silvicultural approach. Charlie holds a BS in Forestry from the University of New Hampshire (1980). He received the NH Outstanding Forester Award and was recognized by the New England Society of American Foresters with the Austin Cary Practicing Professional Forester Award. In addition to SAF, Charlie is active with the Forest Stewards Guild and the NH Tree Farm program.
