Tamera Breidenbach recently earned her Master of Science in Forest Sciences from Colorado State University, where she distinguished herself as the inaugural program manager for the CSU Climate Adaptation Partnership and contributed to the Public Lands Policy Group as a graduate research assistant. A recipient of the Public Lands Foundation George Lea Founders Scholarship, she continued to deepen her forestry expertise and policy acumen through the Society of American Foresters' Henry Clepper Forest Policy Internship in Washington, D.C.
Tamera’s accomplishments span both science and policy. She was selected as a research fellow for the Colorado Science and Engineering Policy Fellowship and presented at the UNFCCC COP25 in Madrid, Spain. Her policy expertise is further demonstrated by her internship with the Office of U.S. Congressman Joe Neguse and her role as a legislative aide for the Colorado State Senate. With a strong foundation in ecosystem science and sustainability, Tamera is driven to advance adaptation and resilience in response to environmental hazards. She is responsive to policies that support community economic empowerment and promote equitable land management practices, ensuring long-term resilience for both communities and landscapes.
