David Akowuah is a Ph.D. student at the College of Natural Resources, at the University of Idaho. Originally from Ghana, he obtained his B.Sc. in Biology at the University of Cape Coast. He continued to pursue M.Sc. in Climate Change and Integrated Natural Resources Management at CSIR College of Science and Technology, Ghana. His research looks at regeneration silviculture and interspecific competition control effects on tree seedling survival and growth: tree seedlings' interaction with native and non-native forbs. Before beginning his Ph.D., he briefly worked for the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR), Ghana.
