Dr. Ryer Becker is an Assistant Professor of Forest Operations in the Department of Forest, Rangeland, and Fire Sciences in the University of Idaho's College of Natural Resources (CNR). Dr. Becker is a graduate of Paul Smith's College and completed his graduate work at the Unviersity of Idaho where his research focused on the integration of mobile technolgoies and remotely sensed data into the assessment and planning of forest operations. Since joining the CNR faculty in 2022, Dr.Becker's work focuses on workforce development, education, outreach, and training to support the forest operations and forestry sectors.
