Laura Kenefic, Ph.D., is a Supervisory Research Forester and Team Leader with the USDA Forest Service, Northern Research Station in Bradley, Maine. She conducts research on northern conifer and mixedwood ecology and silviculture in the Northeast and Lake States, and is co-lead of the Forest Service's Diversity and Inclusion Science Team. Her work contributes to sustainability and resilience of forests and the forestry profession by ensuring that forests are well managed and workplaces are diverse and inclusive.
