Sean Foran joined the Forest Service as a Community Navigator for the Southwest Region in March 2024. Previously, Sean spent eight years as a Policy Analyst for the Albuquerque City Council and many years prior as a Community Organizer and Advocate. His education includes an MSW in International and Community Development and a BS in Astronomy & Astrophysics.
Sean is an adoring husband to his wife Jackie and proud father to his children Thelonious and Juniper. In his spare time, he enjoys all things outdoors, tending to his property, gardening, climbing, and playing capoeira.
