This poster is dedicated to share the Cultural Landscape Training Path, a USFS story map collection. The purpose of this training is for the audience to understand respect for the land, and engagement with Indigenous communities by sharing indigenous-authored resources, policy and guiding them through the process of intentional undoing.
Learning Objectives:
Understand what it means “unlearn” and how the training can be the start to decolonizing, by beginning to understand their relationship with indigenous communities and how they can improve.
Utilize the Cultural Land Training Path as a tool to better improve land management, by acknowledging the use of the policy reference chart, indigenous authored resources, and existing examples.
Build upon what they already understand from tribal engagement and the steps they can take have intentional enagement with indigenous communities.
