As natural resource managers, we are often called upon to break down the “whys” and “hows” of forest management. This workshop will help participants develop skills necessary for communicating with the public about forestry topics in accessible language that fosters trust and understanding.

Upon completion, participant will be able to adapt their messaging or outreach approach to suit a variety of audiences.
Upon completion, participant will be able to incorporate active listening into communication with the public.
