Samjhana Wagle is a PhD student in Forestry at the University of Georgia. She has cultivated a deep understanding of forestry through her academic journey, which includes both an undergraduate and a graduate degree in forestry. This comprehensive education has provided her with a strong foundation in the theoretical principles of forestry, as well as practical, hands-on experience in the field. Currently, Samjhana is focused on advancing her research in the area of biometrics, where she is exploring the application of statistical methods to enhance natural resource management. Through her PhD studies, she is committed to contributing to the advancement of forestry science and to promoting sustainable practices that will benefit to the environment, industries and communities that rely on it.
