Daniel Wear is a Forest Program Manager with Sustainable Northwest. Daniel has been with SNW since 2022, and has been working in the Forestry and Conservation field since 2017. Daniel holds an MPA, with a focus in Environmental Policy and Management, from the University of Washington.
At Sustainable Northwest, Daniel works to lead the Northwest Community Forest Coalition, a network of over 40 community forests throughout the Pacific Northwest. Beyond this, in his role, Daniel provides direct landowner support to communities pursuing community ownership and management of priority forestland.
Daniel loves biking of all kinds, camping, and if possible, a combination of the two.
