Dr. Thomas Ochuodho is Assistant Professor of Forest Economics and Policy in the Department of Forestry and Natural Resources, University of Kentucky. He has Ph.D. in Forestry from the University of New Brunswick (Canada), MPhil. (Forest Economics and Management) and B.S. (Forestry) from Moi University in Kenya. His research lab (Integrated Biophysical-Economic Analysis and Modeling), is centered on developing integrated biophysical-economic decision support systems to inform sound and sustainable forest and environmental management. In his research, he applies general equilibrium theory, input-output and econometric analyses to provide broad-scale and robust evidence base for natural resource policy and management decision making.
