Emily Von Blon has earned her M.S. in Sustainable Forest Management at Oregon State University, where she is now a faculty research assistant and serves as the Associate Director of the Vegetation Management Research Cooperative (VMRC). As part of the VMRC, Emily manages 10+ active research projects and over 40 study sites throughout the Pacific Northwest while mentoring undergraduate forestry students. Previously, she had earned a B.S. in Forest Resources and Conservation at the University of Florida (UF) and had gained techncial and research experience with the Florida Forest Service, UF's Forest Ecosystems Science laboratory, and UF's research and teaching forest.
