Jonathan Marston is a Technical Analyst for METI (Management and Engineering Technologies International) serving the USDA Forest Service Washington Office, Natural Resources, Vegetation Ecology staff.
Jonathan has worked extensively with various databases, GIS, modeling interaction and system work. He started with the Forest Health Technology Enterprise Team building databases and website to assist with national Forest Health Protection work. He then moved to the Natural Resource Manager staff supporting analysis work through the National Forest Service FSVeg suite of products. He currently focuses on the FSVeg Spatial Data Analyzer application that enables expedited NEPA analysis and large-scale landscape planning for the Forest Service. In addition, he has taught technical training classes in the field and online.
Jonathan has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from the University of Nevada, Reno. He currently resides in Fort Collins Colorad
