Amanda West Fordham, Ph.D. is Associate Director of the Science and Data Division at the Colorado State Forest Service (CSFS) and a Research Affiliate with the Natural Resource Ecology Laboratory at Colorado State University. Amanda provides leadership in Forest Inventory and Analysis (FIA), Forest Monitoring, Forest Health, Geospatial Data and Analysis, and Experiential Learning programs at CSFS. She serves as a subject matter expert in coordination with other state agencies on initiatives such as the Colorado Natural and Working Lands Climate Task Force, part of the US Climate Alliance and the Carbon Management Team. Amanda collaborates on a broad range of research topics and seeks to improve outreach and communication in applied sciences.
