My name is Shaoyang Yang who is currently working as an assistant professor at the School of Agricultural Sciences and Forestry of Louisiana Tech University. I graduated and obtained my Ph.D. degree from the Forestry Department of Mississippi State University in August 2019. My major professors are Drs. Andrew Ezell and Zhaofei Fan coming from Mississippi State University and Auburn University. My research interests are quantitative ecology, invasion ecology, ecosystem simulation, and forest biometrics. My research mainly focuses on biological invasion simulation, longleaf pine restoration, oak decline, and loblolly pine growth and yield modeling in the southeastern United States.
