Jonathan Garcia is an incoming graduate student at California Polytechnic San Luis Obispo. He graduated with a bachelor of science in forest and fire science in 2023. Prior to pursuing higher education he worked six years for the United States Forest Service in fire suppersion. During those six years he worked on a type 1 hand crew on the Klamath National Forest and a type 3 engine crew on the Angeles National Forest.
